I love him so much it scares me.
But it’s the good kind of scared,
Like the rush you get before the
Roller coaster takes the plunge, when
Your stomach takes up residence by your
Heart or moves farther north to your throat
And you can’t control the adrenaline
But you get high off it anyway.
It’s the shivers you get sitting in on a horror flick,
And you see the ax murderer sneaking up
On the clueless virginal heroine and you
Tense up, you want to scream a warning
And pray your voice will rip through the screen
And she’ll listen, but then you know everything
Will be absolutely, positively okay.
Just like this time.
Everything is going to be perfectly fine.

It's scary when you're with someone and you don't know what's going to become of your (hopefully) conjoined future.
