*Yes, I went there. Bear with me, it's early.
I had my first day back of college yesterday and it was actually really good. The teachers here are excited about teaching, and that's really, really spectacular to see. I'll be having my remaining three classes today, so then I'll have gotten a taste of all five.
I'm looking forward to Microbiology, haha. It's my first class today.
Socially...I'm being good, as in I have taken several pieces of similar advice that said "Don't lock yourself in your dorm room and/or library and be antisocial". I'm not being antisocial, although I really would love to lock myself in and just get done what I need. My roommates are very nice. We live in a suite-style dorm, with four bedrooms, so we each get our own room, and we have two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room area of sorts.
I joined three clubs/organizations, and I think that's probably enough for now.
If I'm not actively doing something, I get sad. Like I've told a few people, it's my first time really being away from home, and the whole 'real college' thing (as in not community college, like I'm used to) is way out of my comfort zone. I'm learning to adapt fairly quickly, I think, but there are some things that I'll probably never get used to.
But all that aside...yikes. I'm really, really behind here on so many levels.
I will make an attempt this weekend to catch up on some dA messages and such, but no promises. However, the instantaneous Internet speed here makes doing things so much easier.
We shall see.
If you're in school, good luck for this year.
I believe in you! And I'd be willing to offer some homework help. There's no payment or anything; I'll be perfectly happy to try and help you in any way I can. Or if you just want to chat, note me. I'm cool with that. Although I may not get back to you right away, it depends on my schedule.
I love you all.
